i'm lucky enough to be able close enough to sydney centre to be able to enjoy all the amenities it offers, but far enough away to escape the hustle and the crack whores in kings cross.
cath (my girlfriend, or 'partner' as they say here) live in the la-di-da suburb of kirribilli, right down the road from john howard. one day i'll learn not to convert the rent into rand prices to save my frail heart, we pay about R3000 a week here, which is pretty standard for a pokey 2 bedroom flat in the area.
